So with Valentine’s day less than two weeks away, we’ve come up with our Top 5 Last Minute Escapes for you and your other half to enjoy a little alone time together…


Just a three and a half hour flight away and you can find yourself in a Moroccan paradise. Morocco offers bright bold colour, spice markets, amazing foods and so much more that will delight the senses. Where to Stay? Riad Kitula Marrakech (@kitulamarrakech) – A historic building that was once part of Kalifs palace it’s a just a short walk from the Bab el Ksour entrance to the medina, the fascinating souks and palm-filled gardens. Other amazing places to stay include: Berber Lodge / La Maison / Scarabeo Camp (glamping in the Moroccan dessert).

Where To Eat? A romantic bowl of Goulash anyone?! Okay, okay, we know it doesn’t sound very romantic, but this warming bowl of goodness is the ultimate comfort food. Bestia would be our pick, serving delish goulash as well as steak and plenty of delicious specials – perfect if you’re planning a long, lazy lunch.

Where to Drink? Be sure to check out Budapest’s Ruin Pubs which are all buzzing with atmosphere, good beer and good food.

Things to do and see? Go for a romantic stroll and check out the cities stunning architecture at Vajdahunyad Castle, the Szechenyi Chain Bridge and the Parliament Building to name a few. Then, kick back and relax with your partner at Gellert Bath Palace! Budapest is famous for its amazing spas and there really is nothing more luxurious than relaxing in heated pools and then grabbing a relaxing couples massage after.



Canals, narrow streets, colourful houses and so much more Amsterdam is like no other. Less than an hours flight from London, steal a weekend away with your Valentines and treat yourself to lazy mornings in bed, casual strolls along the canals, amazing galleries and plenty of street food, beer, cocktails and more!
