Last night saw the launch of Rockett St George Events with a fabulous, sold out evening hosted at The Hoxton Hotel in Holborn.
The evening commenced with an inspiring and insightful presentation by Jane Rockett. Jane shared her top tips on creating amazing interiors including where she heads for her interior inspiration, clever décor tricks to take your interior designs to the next level and lots of advice on making interior design impactful in order to stand out from the crowd.
Guests had the chance to see a sneak preview of the latest RSG pieces (still in production) and mingle with the RSG team to discuss all things interiors. All of this accompanied with wine, nibbles and goodie bags resulted in a truly memorable evening. The atmosphere exuded positivity – it was such a pleasure to be surrounded by such creative and interesting people.
Our favourite thing about the evening was of course embracing the opportunity to meet and greet our valued customers. We don’t often have a chance to see you all face to face, so it was a real treat to chat to everyone in person. The feedback so far has been astonishing, and we are totally humbled by the sheer buzz around last night and the prospect of future events. We’ve got a lot of ideas in the pipeline – 2016 has a lot to offer.
Storytelling is at the core of a successful brand, and it was lovely to share the very much treasured story of RSG. We hope to have inspired more people to follow their interior design dreams through our tips – it really is possible to make your home as beautiful as you wish!
We were also thrilled to present the lovely interiors journalist and stylist Ellie Tennant as our Special Guest for the evening. Ellie brought not only her brilliant new book, but a few guest boutiquers, too. It was a pleasure to hear from Sian from Fforest, Jeska and Dean from The Future Kept and Keith and Mark from Mini Moderns – each one an innovative and inspiring subject of Chic Boutiquers At Home.
What was also lovely was bringing together our homes with totally different (yet equally beautiful) interiors and learning of the journeys that lead them there. As we said last night, a home is never ever finished – but that’s what makes interior design so consistently exciting.
We’d like to thank Ellie for interesting talk and invaluable advice, everyone who attended from Chic Boutiquers, and of course every single customer who came by to see us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
We will be hosting another event in March, so keep an eye out for any updates if you missed out on this one. Please email us if you would like any further information!
