We thoroughly recommend Mommi; a Peruvian-Japenese fusion food presented as a Raw Bar and Grill, who we are delighted to discover are RSG customers! Mommi certainly have our attention. Located in Clapham, Mommi provide fresh and delicious food that caters for meat-eaters, vegans and gluten-free bodies alike. They also provide cocktails, an exclusively southern-American wine list and Japanese whiskeys that come with hand-chiselled ice globes. We’re drooling!
Mommi, 44 – 48 Clapham High Street, London, SW4 7UR.
DRINK: ALCOHOLIC ARCHITECTURE
Bompas & Parr’s Alcoholic Architecture features a walk-in cloud of breathable cocktail as part of an installation that explodes drinks to the scale of architecture. This event is innovative, inspired and – if we may add – a bit insane!
Alcoholic Architecture sits next to the UK’s earliest gothic cathedral and on the site of an ancient monastery. These themes are channelled through a drinks list entirely comprised of spirits and beers originally created by monks. Visit for refined and luxurious drinks that you can take back into the alcoholic cloud. Dreamy.
On until Jan 1st @ Southwark Cathedral. Over 18’s only.
GO: THE WORLD OF CHARLES AND RAY EAMES
Charles and Ray Eames are among the most important designers of the 20th century. Mid-century modern style design is one of our most favourite looks for interior design, so this extensive new exhibition showing the career and body of extraordinary work is a must-visit this month. From personal letters, photographs, drawings and artwork, to their products, models, multi-media installations and furniture, The World of Charles and Ray Eames provides an insight into their lives, bringing their ideas and playful spirit to life.
We have a collection of Eames products at RSG and cannot wait to learn more about the inspirational duo.
On until Feb 14th @ The Barbican.
MAKE: SWEET PAUL DIY
